Symptoms
Unable to start the IMA service with the error message IMA Service Fails with Specific Error: 2147483649
Error Messages
Failed to load initial plugins with error
Failed to load plugin C:\Program Files\Citrix\System32\Citrix\IMA\SubSystems\MfSrvSs.dll with error
Resolution
Recreate the LHC file by running the command dsmaint /recreatelhc
Changed the IMA Runtime value (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\IMA\RUNTIME\PSRequired) from 1 to 0.
Start the IMA service which will take sometime.
