How to enable the download link to ICA32PKG.msi in the Web Interface
1. Download and Copy the MSI
Download the .msi file and copy it to Program Files\Citrix\Web Interface\4.x\ICAWEB\en\ica32 folder. There should not be any mismatch in the naming conventions. For instance, if you download the 11.0 client version than rename the file from XenAppWeb.msi to ica32pkg.msi. This is quite strange but this is how Citrix has been designed.
2. Opening the WebInterface
Open the WebInterface.conf with Notepad. The default location for this file is \inetpub\wwwroot\Citrix\AccessPlatform\conf.
3. Locate and Repace Win32Client=Default
Locate Win32Client=Default and replace it with the following:
Win32Client=Download the ICA Client for Windows&/Citrix/AccessPlatForm/Clients_common/ica32/ica32web.msi
If you want to provide a shared path to the .msi file than replace it with the following:
Win32Client=Download the ICA Client for Windows&\\FSSERVER\MSI_PATH\ica32web.msi
The above solution applies to:
WebInterface 4.0/4.2/4.5/4.6
